چکیده

Under the trend of developing green transportation in China, tractor-and-trailer has received more attention. This paper focuses on network-type mode port hinterland, aiming to tackle problems low efficiency and customer satisfaction existing network. The authors recommend considering opening several alternative depots making vehicle scheduling decisions simultaneous order optimize Therefore, this constructs a bi-level programming model with generalized total cost minimization as objective function. solution original problem is divided into two stages: location-allocation scheduling; two-stage hybrid heuristic algorithm designed solve problem. Through continuous iteration upper genetic lower particle swarm algorithm, overall optimization achieved. Finally, specific example verifies algorithm’s effectiveness. results show that method proposed can significantly improve reduce costs certain extent. It also provide effective theoretical decision support for logistics enterprises carry out business develop transportation.

Designing Incomplete Hub Location-routing Network in Urban Transportation Problem

In this paper, a comprehensive model for hub location-routing problem is proposed which no network structure other than connectivity is imposed on backbone (i.e. network between hub nodes) and tributary networks (i.e. networks which connect non-hub nodes to hub nodes). This model is applied in public transportation, telecommunication and banking networks. In this model locating and routing is c...

Solving the Tractor and Semi-Trailer Routing Problem Based on a Heuristic Approach

We study the tractor and semi-trailer routing problem TSRP , a variant of the vehicle routing problem VRP . In the TSRPmodel for this paper, vehicles are dispatched on a trailer-flow network where there is only onemain depot, and all tractors originate and terminate in themain depot. Two types of decisions are involved: the number of tractors and the route of each tractor. Heuristic algorithms ...

Designing a green location routing inventory problem considering transportation risks and time window: a case study

This study introduces a green location, routing and inventory problem with customer satisfaction, backup distribution centers and risk of routes in the form of a non-linear mixed integer programming model. In this regard, time window is considered to increase the customer satisfaction of the model and transportation risks is taken into account for the reliability of the system. In addition, dif...

Comparison between Combined and Separate Approaches for Solving a Location-Routing Problem in Hazardous Materials Transportation

In the case of hazardous materials management, selected routes for carrying hazardous materials (i.e., hazmat) have significant effects on locating hazmat distribution centers. Since, risk and cost are usually considered as two main attributes to determine the best routes, optimized locations are sequentially outlined depending on selected routes. In the present paper, t...
